I have to say that this is one of my all time favorite short films. We have a clear protagonist in the Ceratopsian and a defined antagonist in the Tyrannosaur, and there's not a line of dialogue spoken by either character. The cerat This is a realistic depiction of dinosaurs in their natural habitat acting like animals. Not anthropomorphic beings with fart jokes or savage bloodthirsty beasts. Even if you make the argument the Tyrannosaur is bloodthirsty, said animal is just acting like a predator.
Paleontology enthusaist in me has a few comments:
My review keeps saying "Tyrannosaur" but not Tyrannosaurus because although it is set 65 million years ago, the prey did not coexist with Tyrannosaurus at that time. The Ceratopsian is no doubt a Monocolonius (often considered synonymous with Centrosaurus) and takes inspiration from Charles R Knight's artwork of Agathaumas. Whichever name you give the Ceratopsian, it did not live alongside Tyrannosaurus. It DID coexist with Gorgosaurus and Daspletosaurus, however.
