We recognize that returning profits to shareholders by consistently raising HORIBA’s long-term corporate value is one of the priority objectives of management. Our shareholder return policy is to set a certain target ratio for total returns (the combination of dividend payments and share buybacks) to shareholders relative to HORIBA’s consolidated net income, and consistently deliver it. In addition, we create opportunities for constructive dialogue with investors and stakeholders, regularly report operating performance, disclose important business or managerial issues fairly and promptly, and maintain transparency in management.
HORIBA Group companies maintain a timely and responsive management control system with a common information base. The managements of Group companies also share responsibility in generating profit, delivering dividend payments, establishing and managing the internal control system, and developing human resources.
We are proud of the entrepreneurial spirit that led to the creation of HORIBA Group companies. We are expected to maintain this heritage and are actively encouraged to generate unique ideas and realize innovations while being conscious of each other’s human rights.
An open and fair business environment shall be provided, with attention to the safety and wellness, so that we can make maximum use of our talent and potential and achieve our individual goals. We are also expected to respect each other and demonstrate strength in diversity by accepting others. At the same time, for us to grow further, we are encouraged to have intercultural understanding and a global mindset.
We develop a work environment where we can grow and exert our talents to the maximum. Specifically, we will accelerate diversity management and expand the development and exchange program of our international core human resources.
