Port Isaac
Port Isaac is home to a beautiful harbour which was actively used for import and export from the Middle Ages up to the 19th century. Nowadays it is possible to book fishing and scenic boat trips from the harbour during the holiday season. Surrounding the harbour are mainly 18th and 19th century cottages, coastal walks and cycle trails.

The cliff walks and coastal parks in and around Port Isaac are particularly popular with visitors all year round. There is a popular circular route of around 5 km, taking you through the town and along some of the county's most spectacular sandy beaches and surf-havens.
Fern Cottage
This picturesque, detached cottage has the best views directly overlooking Port Isaac harbour and out into the clear blue sea. The idyllic setting adds to its escapist atmosphere and surreal loveliness. In fact, its setting was considered perfect enough to be used in the British series Doc Martin,
Rock Pools
The marine life around the Cornish Coast is famously varied and extremely interesting to sea-life enthusiasts, holiday-makers and especially children. When rock pooling in the pools around Port Isaac, look out for some local specialities: the snake-locks anemone, the velvet swimming crab, or the tompot blenny.
