HK (Hark Kyu) Park

Corporate President, Head of Corporate Management Office, Device eXperience Division, Samsung Electronics

HK (Hark Kyu) Park is the president and head of Corporate Management Office in Samsung Electronics' Device eXperience Division, overseeing business operations of the Mobile, Digital Appliances, Visual Display, Network, Health & Medical Equipment, Automotive Electronics and Robot business units.

Before joining Device eXperience division, HK was CMO of Device Solutions, Chief Operating Officer of Samsung SDS (the largest IT solutions service provider in Korea), Future Strategy Office Corporate Consulting Team Leader (EVP), where he managed financial affairs of Samsung Group.

HK also led and solidified Samsung Electronics’ drive as the global leader in the mobile market as the Mobile Division Support Team Leader.

He joined Samsung in 1988 as accounting department associate and has been the guidepost of stable yet profiting financial condition of the company as a whole.

HK received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management in Seoul National University and completed his Master’s in Management Science at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology)
