Hardy Student Council Fall Canned Food Drive - 11/1-11/15

We are excited to announce the launch of our annual Canned Food Drive, organized by the Hardy Student Council! This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to come together and make a positive impact in our community during this season of giving. Please consider donating soups, vegetables and beans. Results for DCPS Lead Testing of Drinking Water at Hardy MS

DC Public Schools (DCPS) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) partnered to coordinate lead testing of drinking water sources at our school.

On Election Day, it's a great moment to talk with your middle school student about the importance of the democratic process.

On 11/6 during school, students will also have an opportunity to discuss the electoral college in some of their classes. Our other classes will continue with our regularly planned lessons.

New Gates at Hardy Middle School - Please Read!

We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of students at Hardy Middle School. To enhance security, on November 18th we will begin locking the gates along our central walkway. The gates will be locked from 10am to 3:15pm on school days, providing extra security during the time our students use our outdoor facilities. The gate to the parking lot will remain open for families to access the main office during the day. Members of the community are welcome to use Whitehaven Pkwy or the path behind the school to travel between 35th Street and Wisconsin Avenue. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this important safety protocol. Thank you!

With the DCIAA semi-final loss to Stuart-Hobson, Hardy ends its successful and fun volleyball season with a record of 13-3. A big thank you to Coach Lanham and Coach Tanner!
