Curious, Dime - is there a story behind these characters and the other dryads? Did a cursory look through your gallery and found more dryads but I couldn't find a story. Would love to know what it is, if there is one. Your depictions of them are so heart-wrenching yet so utterly beautiful.
All my characters have stories (some more broad and complete than others, some characters are still more under construction), but I haven't told them anywhere in full yet. I want to make all these stories into comics, but I haven't yet. I give little snippets in descriptions with my paintings, and answer people's questions in the meantime.
