He reminds me of my character Sand (Jacob Spruce). Sand, like my other characters, is a veteran. He used to serve for communications and negotiations. Since 'the sanctuary' (last shelter in USA) has been eradicated, sand could no longer work on E27.
First person I've seen who would actually want to be a monolith trooper. This is awesome! And you drew them sans eye infection.

the character's colors and markings Reminds me of weed from ginga densetsu weed ^_^
That contrast between his bright blue fur and the enveloping gray is fantastic! It's like his armor and clothes are not only protecting his lungs from whatever pollution fills the air but also protecting what little bright colors can still be found in that shroud of gray (though his tail could use some protecting too if that were the case! ^.=.^)
I can't help but imagine him as a smartass, like Ulman from Metro 2033.
