The Witch’s Gaze
The grip of the witch Kuma is felt all across the land.
Her touch, like that of death itself, spreads a hateful blight.
Within a grove of gnarled wood she sits and schemes and plans,
Her obsession to rule New Africa blazing long into the night.
Weaving ancient magic she creates spiders of ivory white.
With eight black eyes and long, thin legs they hide where we can’t see.
They sit and watch our lives play out, the witch’s second sight.
Spies to show what she must do to keep our people from being free.
So if you walk the plains alone and see movement in the grass,
Just know if you find nothing there, it is Kuma you’ve walked past.

How in the hell does work like this not garner one comment?!?
This is beautiful paint work. I'll admit I'm an arachnophobe, but nevertheless, the atmosphere you've brought to the forest is amazing, same as the lone witch.
