Hope he didn't have to be anywhere... Doesn't look like he'll make it on time.

I wonder where he's taking him :o
It must have been really intense to pass out after all that!

It's good that his safety is a concern. Always buckle up your victims during transit!
oh man that last panel is disappointing he looks so awkward and posed... you been doing pretty good with this but that last panel just feels way to calm. if you want to show that he's trapped, since the guy has taken him away somewhere, you need to think about your rule of thirds and frame him facing into the smaller portion. from this, i'd say push him into the lower lefthand corner. you're drawing is generally really good but your page layout and panel composition is taking away form the story. you should talk to me and brian for your next project :3 we can give you some good advice specific to comics
he is supposed to be passed out... I didn't really know how to make that obvious without the fade out sequence :X
mouths lightly open, head at more of an angle from the rest of his body, body shoudl be more slumped as though the seatbelt is straining to hold him up. its a challenge to do, especially form the angle you chose, thats why composition would have helped with this because where the drawing fails the composition can get the idea across. also, don't be afraid to do bold blacks--in his hood, you chicken-scratched some darks--dont be afraid to jsut make it a flat black. making the car itself darker, heavy blacks and shadows would have made this scene considerably darker ie more depressing, making it more apparent whats happening.
its usually good to picture your panel out of context and see if it still gets the right image across. thats something i've been having a huuuge hard time with my short story that i've had to do 3 comics in different formats on... lots of things can be interpreted different ways, so you gotta figure out how to make what YOU intend come across right. for example, my guy at the door of a shop, picking the lock with the scissors. how do you know its his shop? because he has a barber's apron with hair trimming supplies, a traditional barber's outfit with the vest and bowtie, and you see the sign that says barber shop. But most importantly, and this is what we get out of comics and no other medium, his speech bubble says "Not again..." which suggests that this has happened before and is not out of the ordinary.
comics is all about the marrying of multiple images [panels] and the script/prose of it--whether its speech, sound effect, or captions. :)
also, do you do thumbnails before drawing a page or just start drawing? if do thumbs and ever wanna show me i can point out some basic things that would be easy to adjust before you put all the time into drawing/inking. :3

PS- i miss you, and i miss having artist friends around, especially ones that listen to me. most of my scad friends are in different classes now, and i'm stuck surrounded by freshman who ask my opinion and advice so i repeat what i've been taught at school, and they tell me that i'm wrong or they don't wanna do it that way... its so very frustrating. i was talkin to shelby about us tryin to come visit you next summer and i wondered if you and brandon were gonna come to town for FWA :3
We are god-level at FWA so yes we will be there :)
there is also a very very cheap con over here, you should look into it, ill have a dealer table and I also did the promotional art with Shuik XD

We'll more than likely have our own room, and there is a set up shop artist alley outside fo the dealer's den just like FWA :)
You should really try to spread the word on this con, it would mean a lot to me since its our (second) year and we are really trying to do different things, including go-karting with fursuits (on-site)

i'm letting some people i know know about it, told narcotic-sprinkles and she's really interested but has to look at her budget. :) i sent an email to dealers den inquiring about an artist alley and any guidelines because by then i'll have foxfur tailplugs and also monster hats, and possibly some leather gear... so wild variety of things that idk if would classify as artwork
