pocketbatinc inked it, and I finally got around to crapping some lame color onto it when FA was down and I couldn't get to my commission refs. D:
This was cartoony practice/trying to draw an old character, and it looks like some sort of Disney abomination. Anyway, she's a tiny adorable gila monster, which are really awesome animals. She has no name yet, because I can't settle on which name I want.

I got to pet a gila monster, and a beaded lizard. They were pretty docile too. Indeed awesome animals, and awesome character you have.

I remember seeing clips from a movie about a giant Gila Monster attacking people. The scenes with the actual lizard, they just let it walk around a tiny little set with little houses and trucks everywhere.

Gila monsters are partly fantastic simply because of the name. Say it- giiiiilaaa.
I love the combination of purple and orange. They're my two favorite colors, but it's so difficult to get the right combination of shades so that they don't clash horribly.

AHHHH, is that a little/big brown bat in your icon? Some sort of myotis. We have them back home and I've handled them to get them out of eaves (WITH GLOVES), but my memory is kinda shoddy. So cute, though.
And thank you! My ability to see warm colors is kind of shoddy, so I hope they don't clash oddly. I normally don't like purple at all, but it looks wonderful with orange. <3
