This is the first part of my Sammy (a Border Collie) partial that I've finished so far--the four-fingered handpaws! They fit perfectly, and I had fun making them.I've also got a yarn tail and feetpaws in the works. Arm sleeves will probably be the next thing I do, so that I can wear my collection of wacky t-shirts when I'm dressed up as Sammy. The head will be the absolute last thing I do, since I want to get more experience with furring and foam carving by doing the feetpaws, as well as just more general experience with cutting fur nicely, before I start on the most important part!
These are hand-sewn, as I don't have a sewing machine and don't feel like investing in one right now since I'm only making an experimental partial. The ring and pinky finger share a "sleeve" in order to give me super-adorable puppy paws :)

Thanks! They took a long time, but it was fun to finally try them on and surprise my housemates and puppy with them
nice work. i made my feet first, then the hands, then the head, then the sleevs, and then the tail.
Thanks! The tail is actually what I started first, just experimenting with some yarn--but it's taking me forever to rake out enough yarn for a tail that goes down to the top of my calves Then I started with the feet, but I left the foamwork for one foot on the kitchen table while I was at work and my puppy decided to, uh, "taste" it. I'm kinda nervous about the head, though.
mm. suposed to get a pup tomorrow. was suposed to be here tonight. but yeah.i have a yarn tail,, made from somone and its nice.it took me 4 hours to swe my tail up. i tripple stitched it.i know how much of a pain yarn tails are lol.
