Done on paper i suppose? i really like your painting technique...but maybe you shold've given a bit more light to the moon, it blends alot with the night sky.

You're not being a picky ass, you're being helpful and constructive. And yes, I see your point. I had to push the moon back in space or else it would be brighter than everything else in the picture, and taking attention away from the figure. I think it's just an issue with contrast in general, actually. I have to work on compositions where the figure is a lighter value than the background.

Oh it's watercolor, i see. Mh it's not much about it back in space, where it is it's perfectly fine, it gives the right space to the main subject, it's just blending a bit too much with sky and clouds. But yeah, i see your point if those are watercolors, it's hard to work with them.

Awesome results most of the time, but kinda of a pain to work with in my opinion.

You could be right. I think the chains make his arm look like it bends downward when it really doesn't. Could be a value issue.

Yeah, I think you got me on that one. Messy value treatment on that right wrist isn't helping at all.

I can tell this has been scanner raped. The colors seem like they should be a little more vibrant. On that note, I don't think it would've hurt to have made the moon a tiny smidge bigger and brighter. It would help to visually even out the image a bit, moreso than it'd do drawing attention away from the main subject.
