Code:White stuff - just a bit of sketching and minor redesign work for Narla (from Ascendence).
These were some of the first sketches I'd done in quite a while so I feel they could be a lot better, but it's nice to actually work on her a bit more since I rarely draw her at all (as Cody can quite happily testify to, lol).

Actually she's from a lizard-like alien race called the Zel'Ki from my friend's story Ascendence.
Mace is her husband, but his appearanec in White Shadow has him as a komodo.

I would personally like a comic of keira having a nightmare in which she loses tabby and it ending with tabby saying "why couldn't you save me?" I think I can chalk that up to my love of batman the animated series

The scar is a new addition. We figured (Cody and I) that with as much combat as she'd have seen in the military (field combat medic) it's likely that she'd have picked up a few scars herself. Plus it makes her look different to her twin daughters, and like you said, she looks more hard-bitten and experienced for it. :)
Most of the sketches of her (and all the characters from Ascendence) are up on the Code:White page on dA, though this is the most times I've drawn her on one page. Glad to know you're interested in her though - I'll be doing more sketches of her and the rest of the cast, as well as eventually making a big coloured piece for them.
