but as Gilda would probably point out He is Dragon, heck! 11 episodes before he kidnapped Rarity and went into a full King Kong Rampage through Ponyville, truly such a powerfull force of nature and really good friend does not deserve to be reduced to a really girly looking maid

I see nothing demeaning about being girly :) A maid, maybe that's a little demeaning, but I just interpreted him as being more of a 'host'.

I would say Spike's a kid and he shouldn't smoke, but he belches fire to send letters, so smoke is probably nothin' to him.
I actually wouldn't have thought so. She was so bitchy and Spike is so laid back. Still. People change. Both would be great smokin buddies. ^^
