Looks like the pup needs some chewies. Dogs chew, its their nature. Its up to us as owners to make sure they learn to chew whats allowed and leave the rest of the stuff alone. My dog used to be bad about chewing cords, took me a while to break him of that. I can trust him 100% now but he still gets kenneled when I'm not here.
I have one of those, but my tablet stopped working, so I don't know if it would be much use :T

You might not need that exact pen for it to work on your tablet.
Look into other wacom tablet pens online via not the wacom page.
You might find another cheaper wacom pen will work so yeah. Sorry to hear that!
My graphire pen only works cuz I rigged a paper clip with tape to hit the right click button on the pen.
