*When I was still in Malaysia*
Malaysian friends : "Hey Kat, when you get to Canada..you're gonna become a Ice hockey addict, right! Its a Canadian thing. Haha!"
Me : "Naaah, no way! I'll still love Soccer no matter what."
*Today in class*
Instructors were talking bout the loss of the Canucks and their elimination from the the Playoffs. Half my brain shut off and seconds later I found this in my sketchbook.
Omg, what have I become?!
(And yes, I've come to love Ice hockey ever since I got here.)
Not quite a Canucks fan, but I did enjoy watching them.

I can't believe I'm reduced to rooting for the Senators now.
At least until NY knocks them out tomorrow...

With the Canucks eliminated, I'm missing experiencing the hockey craze during my stay in Vancouver. :(
No more fans..no more cheering overheard from the other classrooms, no more parades downtown, no more crowded restaurant/bar hockey nights!

Ah hockey, the one thing close to Street fighting. who put a hockey game in my street fight. lol
But I can't find em on the Playoffs standings... :I Where is it?
omg.. the adorableness! |3 just enjoy the things you wanna enjoy :P hockey is just as good as anything else X3
Well as much as I wanna support Canucks (maybe just cause I'm living in Vancouver now. xD ), they played reallllllllllllly shitty on those games.
So they lost fair and square.
I'm new to Ice hockey, but even I could tell how they screwed up. :I

I'm still out on the market for a team to really support. At the moment I'm kind of a fair-weather fan for hockey. Canucks are good and local which is cool
You should see Team Canada VS Team USA during the Finals at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games
That was intense o3o

Hey, that's really cute! I don't like the Vancouver hockey team at all tho >.< Go Coyotes >.> *reminisces on how much study time was lost to watching hockey* .-.
I'm hoping Phoenix wins too, now that my Penguins are out.
Ahahaha, I love this! The facial expression on chibi Katsu is simply priceless! <XD
That's what happens when you go somewhere where a sport is so popular, and you don't have any interest in the beginning. XD
Me : "Naaah, no way! I'll still love Soccer no matter what."
Soccer!? What about the word football? I thought only North Americans say that... (in my opinion)

If I say Football here, no one will get it. We do call it football where I'm from too.
I was hoping the Canucks would make a big comeback and eliminate the Kings but just wasn't enough
Don't worry, once we train you to like snow and cold, you can be oafishly Canadian =P
I already like the snow and the cold. xD
My classmates from tropical countries, like some from India are all like "OMG I LOVE THE COLD.", and the local students here are going "You guys are crazy."

The Canadain sterotypes are taking over! Soon you'll be saying 'eh' all the time! Nah, it's nice to like where you live. By the way, the cold sucks and tropical people are crazy.
Yeah, that stereotype is wrong XD I've encountered hundreds of different Canadians from all over Canada in the time I worked with cruise ship passengers~ not a single one said "eh" at any point when I talked to them XD and my conversations with Canadians have been anything from 10 minutes to over an hour with each of them X3
