In reality I just saw stylish artwork of a rabbit. I think it's kind of silly how most people automatically make the movie/pop culture connection. :P Just like for awhile there every white dog was suddenly BOLT omg.
ugh, then there were all those people that took BOLT a little too far...
I was going to mention watership down but not because of the style, but because of the color palette, which is lovely.

I've only heard of and briefly looked into Watership Down, and I made the association. As the above fellow said, it was largely because of the colors.

That's very true, the sepia-like color tones are pretty similar to the colors used in the movie.
In relation to that, I highly recommend Watership Down to anyone who likes to read. You will remember it forever O:
