This is an excellent picture but... is it wrong that I'm cheering for Culthulu's kid brother?
Seems a bit too symmetrical for a Lovecraft monster. Then again, some of them were symmetrical in design, and no less horrifying. Either way, hope he can kill it, or at least wound it enough to make good his escape.

High level ranger with aberrations as one of his favored enemies and the two handed weapon style wielding a halberd against against an aberration. Chances of the monster of winning: slim. Nuke it from orbit? They're in space already.

Possibly, but this is fantasy so it might be magic nukes. Like a special prayer that brings forth the full fury of Nature's WWrath to destroy the thing. Yes, he is a spellcaster.

Wisdom is actually one of his higher stats. I make my rangers as warrior druids.
