Fanart I did for the upcoming Half Life 1 mod "Cry of Fear", to celebrate it's release which is on February 21/22 (Due to timezone differences between America and Europe). I've been anticipating this mod ever since I saw the teaser trailer for it, and it's crazy that it's release is so close by.
So here's the main protagonist of the game, Simon, reading SMS messages on his phone or something. I like how the shading came out, but I'm concerned about the size and shape of his head. Don't know if it's accurate or not...
But anyway, hope you guys enjoy~! Gonna post it on their Facebook page eventually~!

Ok I'll add ya, but I'm gonna be doing the single player campaign first, and on top of that, I gotta see if it will work on my computer, coz lots of steam games are causing my computer to crash and one HL1 mod I was playing (Mistake -1) froze. I dunno if it's something wrong with my video card or if my computer is crapping out on me. :I
Yeah it is! But so far it hasn't gotten scary for me yet. Probably because I went into Easy difficulty thinking it would be as hard as Afraid of Monsters. But I will admit the first jump-scare got me good. @_@
But yeah, I love it a lot so far! It's just bursting with fresh and exciting content that's new for a HL1 mod, and I didn't wanna stop playing it! I just hope it gets more scarier though! XP

Yeah I know, right? I played it last night and there are just so many moments where in my head I was like "Oh my god, get me the fuck out of this area! Where's the tape recorder?! Is there gonna be a screamer here?!"
I recommend trying out Afraid of Monsters: Directors Cut, which is also made by the creator of Cry of Fear. Only difference is AOM:DC is older, and much more harder, as you are constantly trying to scavenge for health, ammo, and flashlight batteries in the dark while monsters are charging at you!

I kinda' want to play them, but I kinda' don't.
I don't really have a say since I don't have HL1, else I probably would have play them by now.
Also, I love the fact that the phone is used as a light. I've always wanted to see that happen.
