A big thing in Tamias's character development I'm toying around with is the idea that Tamias has a violent past that is forgotten but sometimes surfaces to torment him. And this drawing here is a relatively mild exercise of this idea compared to some things I have up my sleeve.
The rundown of this idea is that Tamias was not always who he currently is. But instead he is Norman Lee the younger brother of my previous fursona Jerry Lee who in Jerry's storyline was captured and imprisoned by a cult like group called the Inner Circle. Long story that's best save for another time. Anyway during Norman's captivity he was subject to torture and savage treatment by his captors so traumatizing that by the time Jerry rescued him, his spirit was essentially broken leaving nothing behind but an empty and shattered vessel barley clinging to life. In a desperate bid to save Norman's life he was placed in cryogenic stasis. In Tamias's timeline 350 years later Norman was revived and nursed back to full health. But since he was nothing more than an empty vessel, a new spirit inhabited Norman's body thus giving rise to Tamias Orenberg. However his past is not totally forgotten as a body traumatized by violence never totally forgets it as evident by Tamias's utter fear of even the simplest of medical procedures done to him, an innate disdain of abuse, and suffering periodic flashbacks triggered by certain conditions and stimuli.
I still got allot of work to do to this Idea before I fully implement it as part of cannon. But I will be adding the chest and possibly the belly scars featured on my SL avatar onto the drawn version of Tamias as they are a visual link to his violent past as Norman Lee as shown in this drawing.

Great work and very sombering storyline. Will be antisipating how the story unfolds.
A very wonderful piece though I feel sorry for the young and also the old Tamias for what he had gone through. Big lion hugs squirrel
I forgot to comment this pic. But it tells so much and I, well, I gotta admit, I too have those scars that torment me from time to time.
