Damn I love this linework. I mean, wow. Sketchy and erratic, yet so tightly and confidently detailed. How you vary between the fuzz of the tail and the sleeker lines of the body, this is no less than pro.

inking by traditional means is something i am incredibly weak at;;; instead i lay out the shapes with black and carve out the negative spaces ; w ; maybe you should give it a try! (if it makes any sense)

Actually, that's a similar technique to how I paint. Blocking in form and light has always felt more natural to me than straight up sketching. And I've never done this for inking? I'm dumb.
