Is there some significance to having the lion with 4 candles on its head? Like with Amaterasu's Mirror, Beads, and Sword being Japanese symbols of royalty?

Kinda sorta. The number is arbitrary. The candles replace the green flaming disk Amaterasu has, they are tranquility and meditation. I also work by candlelight sometimes, so there they were in front of e. XD
I think he looks better as a lion than a wolf =P

omg this is so cool, i thought the candles were bamboo at first but now i see there candles, looks cool im gonna fav it!!
I enjoy seeing variations on the Okami wolf, especially when unique "weapons" are shown. I'm going to be wondering what the halo of candles represents and how they would be used as a weapon in the game. Great work.
