Personal character made up just for fun. Big thanks to my BFF Sidian for naming him (I suck at coming up with names).
Wargs are intelligent, talking, monstrous wolves imagined up by Tolkien (apparently he borrowed them from Norse myth and didn"t come up with them. I don"t care who"s to blame, really, I just think there needs to be more warg love), that are now used in fantasy settings such as Dungeons and Dragons and various video games. Grimmarg lives in a generic fantasy world, and can be found in the deepest, darkest woods.

That face second down on the right just makes me think of that creepy but cool uncle.
See this is what the Wargs in the LOTR movies SHOULD have looked like.
Just amazing. You really remind me of when I got my hands on my first copy of Werewolf The Apocalypse, and witnessed Ron Spencer's art for the first time.
Really, really good stuff.

Are Wargs solitary cause it looks like he enjoys doing things on his own?
(Polishes own claws on shirt.) So is it good to be bad, or is it bad to be good? I know I wouldn't want to mess with this character, but I like the idea he's got a sense of humor.
>3< D'aww what a pretty puppy... I wanna take him home and give him lots of cuddles.... >.>;
Tolkien didn't actually create/imagine wargs. They come from Norse mythology. (Fenrir, Skoll, and Hati, in particular.) He just took inspiration from the vargr to base his specific brand of warg.
It's worth noting that 'varg' is the Swedish for 'wolf' -- in other words, "Warg" is just a generic Nordic word.
As far as I remember from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Tolkien never distinguished Wargs as anything but damn big wolves. It was Jackson who got all hyena and ugly on their asses. This guy's a considerable improvement.

Apart from the art (great as always), I much enjoyed the "extended bio" in the bottom left corner. The Hobbit part cracked me up big time. :)
Ahhh so Wargs are big ass wolves XD
Kind had a hard time what the heck Wargs really were (although I probably could have Googled it anyway)
The evil smile gives me goosebumps (the good kind)

Daaawww...Soo cute beast ! =3 I want to pet his fluff but I think he will bite me
i love the write up x3 also as ferocious as he is he looks so cuddleable!!!
I can't begin to tell you how much I love this character and his design. I Love everything involved/designed/created with reference and respect to Little Red Riding Hood. It is by far my most beloved fairytale of all time. He owns the title for Big Bad indeed!
