Here's a very early sketch of Jack. The inspiration for this character came from a commercial. I was flipping trough channels one morning trying to find something interesting to watch, and then I came across this commercial. I forgot what it was advertising, but all I remember was a plain stick figure walking around the real world taking down obstacles in it's path, and I thought to myself "wouldn't it be awesome if when people die they would just revert to a simplistic form, a shadow of their former selves, with no recollection of who they were, and the only clue of their demise is a symbol on their chest that represents how they met it". At this point they have two choices, stay in the nether world and start a new life as a demon, or escape the nether world and try to retrieve their lost memories. The details are a bit sketchy but that's how Jack came to be.
