Oh now don't you start too. The site has a music category, and if its purpose were solely to let scratchy-voiced fans sing "filk" about being a gerbil in love with a tiger, the whole world would be poorer. Maybe I only speak for myself, but I browse for music here because furries are curiously good at instrumental music of all kinds; why that's true is anyone's guess, but it sure is convenient. If nothing else, the value of a shared culture counts for something.

You have a point. I guess my question was really just a concealed gripe about how much steeper music's effort-to-response ratio is than drawing's. Or put another way (the age-old cry), 'I want more attention'. Which is pretty ignoble, so I will stop.

Maybe a more pertinent question is, if I'm bothered by lack of feedback, why am I posting these only here?
