It's not sarcasm or a plea for help. It's just the sound of someone falling between the two stools of politeness and honesty. I say things like this far too often.
Perhaps this time I can be forgiven, as some hideous epilatory disease or accident has clearly befallen me! Not really. I'm just playing with retooling Moult as a sphynx. Much more fun to draw, and I like how hairless characters cut against the grain (or weft, or whatever) of 'furry'.

Hairless animals are so awesome and unique <3
Haha, I do similar things. There's nothing wrong with being honest!

Yeah, the best policy it is. I guess I'd be better off trying not to have a crappy time than trying not to admit it.
I love the wild hair in and beneath his ears. The eyebrows are pretty epic, too.
I have pretty epic eyebrows in real life. Ear-hair, thankfully not so much.
You look awesome as a ragged hairless creature. I always hate this questions, and it's sort of implied around where i live that you don't answer it honestly. Usually it's just answered with another "How's it going". If i answer it and say 'terrible", provided that's true, the person will say WHY? and i don't feel like getting into it, yeah it's not easy. Then there's the feeling that your problems are trivial, even if they're affecting you deeply.
