I remember I found this comic in 2011 when I was 10 years old. At that time, I was just tired of stories by Marvel and DC, and I decided to find something "different" and discovered a huge world of independent media.
Your comic was one of the first that I started reading along with stories by Jay Naylor, as well as stories about Jack Salem.
To be honest, I took a long break from the subculture from 2018 to 2022 due to studying at the university.
Even after many years, you have not abandoned the project and continue to delight with new works.

I don’t think we ever got Zig’s canonical name. I know some fan stories gave it as Zelda or Tonya, but given her siblings’ names start with the letter B, Brandon and Brandy, it suggests Zig’s real name also starts with the letter B.
It seems so for most Bases that we'll never know.

If you haven't read the original "Sabrina On-Line" comic, you should. Zig's relationship with her "father" is explained and it ain't a pretty one. However, it takes several years after the start of the comic for the explanation to come out.
To tell the truth, it wasn't mentioned in the comic but, I know Zig was trying to get her brother and sister away from him.

I know Zig canonically loathes her dad, but doesn't she also resent her mom nearly as much for snapping and abandoning her just cause she had yet to get home from school when her mom decided to pack up and leave with her other two siblings? Or was that only canon on Max's end before Sabrina Online kicked off?

If I recall correctly, ZigZag's mother passed away while she was still young, and her mother was moderating force that kept her father in line. Nothing I've read indicates the ZigZag feels anything but love and affection for her.
