Volkhan's night terrors never seemed to end. The looming threat of war always prowling just beyond the walls.
A rabid wolf waiting to shred all that he loved. His wife was the only one who could sooth him. Kore, with their gentle touch.
Their soft voice. It chased the wolf away like a shepherd's hound and he laid in their lap much like a lamb.
I wanted to draw a piece for the new beans me and theinkdragon got recently.
Kore and Volkhan make me super happy and nothing like two nonbinary baddies ruling a kingdom.
Really inspired by that post about a livestock guardian dog being gentle with the sheep he protects but
covered in gore and spikes when facing wolves or coyotes. At least it makes me think of these two.
