(Jake didn't seem to be helped by his agility, and Tech caught him.)
Ten minutes passed, but neither Jake nor Tech was in any hurry to let go. Finally the cat couldn't stand it any longer and with a savage growl he shoved the coyote, releasing him.
“Heh, and that's all you can show me?” chuckled Tech, clearly surprised at how long his opponent had lasted holding his fingers captive in his fist.
“Shut up, pup, or you'll be sorry,” growled the cat, though he was pleased that the coyote wasn't embarrassed. This was exactly what Clawson expected from his opponent.
“You're too cocky, kitty,” the coyote shook his head. “I'm going to kick your ass and then put you to the mat with my foot.”
“Dogs may be stronger than cats, buddy,” grinned Jake, ”but they're clearly losing out in agility!”
And he lunged at Tech, striking at the strong muscles of the canine's chest. Tech was not outdone, and the two fighters began beating each other again. Jake was about to drive Tech to the ropes, but he suddenly made a maneuver, and while the cat was trying to turn around, he grabbed him, pressed his head against the cat's shoulder, and then whispered in his ear:
“Prepare to know pain!”
And Jake immediately found himself on the coyote's knee, his tailbone aching very badly.
“Atomic Drop?!” exclaimed the outraged cat. Tech gritted his teeth.
“I thought you said cats were more agile than dogs. Where's that agility of yours?”
Jake only gritted his teeth in pain. He must break free of this hold! He wouldn't lose to Tech!
