‘We need to move quickly through here and watch out for,….’
‘Gah!!!.’
‘…. Deep spots,…’
“Of course,… of course, one of the traps in these ruins just had to be quicksand, that’s just my luck,…
And of course Hula Girl stumbles right into a deep spot right away,… either that or she is heavier than she looks,…
Hmm,… best I keep that thought to myself and focus on getting through this.”

So, as the Tribute continues, we reach the part I feel most people have been waiting for, that I feel PM2K himself would have most appreciated, the Quicksand Hall, and, as Ember observes, Hula Girl certainly is sinking fast. ~^
Not as actiony or dynamic as the previous pictures, but this hall looks thoroughly treacherous, from the bones and debris sticking out of it, to the gooey look, that makes it seem like a mix of sand and mud, that quicksand is really incredible looking. Hula Girl doesn’t seem to appreciate that though, having already sunken nearly to her waist, with her leaves spread on the surface as a very nice touch, but her startled expression really gives the impression that she very quickly sank down to that depth, yet the lack of a splash speaks to how thick that quicksand is. Ember’s equally puzzled expression adds to the suddenness of Hula Girl’s predicament, and truly does makes one wonder if perhaps there is a notable weight difference between then two. And of course their hair floating on the surface behind them is always a touch that I enjoy. I must also say, perhaps it’s just my imagination, but it looks to me like the Idol seems to be grinning more noticeably here, but perhaps it’s just the lighting in this hall. ~^ Either way, our jungle heroines seem to be in quite the sticky situation. Stay tuned and find out what happens next. ^^
What do you think? :D

Indeed, I think most people have been waiting for this. ~^
On your page, quicksand is only ever a matter of time, and from the remains around them, this could certainly cause some trouble. ;)
Also the line "either that or she is heavier than she looks,…" is both very funny and implies Ember actually thinks Hula Girl is heavy enough to break through a solid stone ground. ;)

Yeah, sooner or later it turns up in most of the series on my page, and yeah, the bones do not bode well at all. ~^
Glad you like that line, and I wouldn't say that, afterall, they aren't exactly on 'solid' ground, it was meant more to insinuate why Hula might be sinking faster. ~^

Lol, yeah, I don't think she does, or she'd be alot more upset than that. ~^
Indeed, a tribute to the departed PM2K, whom I hope is looking down and enjoying this series. ^^
Now Ember and Hula Girl face one of their great adversaries when it comes to traps. Quicksand!!!
Still a really nice pic :) . to see the texture of the quicksand, and to see the remains of those who have tried. They got through all of that to then have quicksand be their undoing ;) .
