Was a pair of 2002 fantasy sports posters that sparked this.
The idea is that there are these Olympic like sports held by all the aliens of the galaxy.
& for some reason, Earth was selected for the games.
Even tho earthlings on the galactic scale are incredibly tiny.
SO NATURALLY I LATCHED ONTO THAT IDEA
This isnt even done out of malice. Just automated bureaucracy.
A invite was sent out to earth, they never responded to it. Because they didnt have the tech todo so.
So the system just automatically signed them up.
The automated system took over and arranged everything.
No one is purposely stomping earthlings, they are just in the way & the games must go on.

Well, they pull up some random earthling for a interview.
Earthling goes off script, starts to paint the games in a bad light.
& The Announcer just gives the guy a swat with his hand and flick off the desk.
Dismissing the Earthling and reassuring the viewers.

that lil Earthling was flicked into a waiting coffee cup by mistake ;3
