Happy Birthday! And don't worry, just because you're older than before doesn't mean that you're old old. In fact, you won't even be considered middle-aged for another 5 years, meaning that until then you are objectively still young and nobody is allowed to say otherwise. But hey, maybe that's just me coping with the fact that I'll be turning 30 as well in just a few months from now lol.
Well, for me I will be 30 next year...And if this makes you feel any better, just remember there are people out there who are 20/30 years older than you, but still enjoy something like DJaying and playing music to the crowds, despite being past their 50s and such: https://www.digitaldjtips.com/your-.....old-for-djing/
Just because of an age number doesn't mean you aren't allowed to enjoy things, because you can. Again, for me, even going far back as 9/10 years old in 2005, I literally planned and knew what I wanted to do in the near future. It's just that my mental and emotional toll hit me in 2013 that caused a 11 year delay to hopefully do my filmmaking career at some point either next year or the year after.....But so long as you know what you'll end up as in the near future, you still have time to make some great art, even if you're past the age of 50/60 years old. Sure, you may not be able to keep up with people twenty years younger than you, but for me it's a great resource to see what the young ones enjoy and see if those people may end up liking more grown up artwork 10/20 years into the future.
But as for me, I've enjoyed your work for a long time, and hopefully this birthday does make you feel special to know you still have family and good friends left with you currently. So enjoy it, it is your special day after all.
Mine is coming up on friday the 13th (shocker, I know), and I'll be turning 29 this year.....Most of my siblings are in their 30s, with my oldest brother going to turn 35 in 2026....So yeah, my siblings and I are now at the same age my parents where when those two started a family back in the early 1990s.
