Outskirts: Finale Part 1
10:36 PM. Ax'L and Diji had made a little campsite for themselves deep in Túl's wilderness. Ax'L was never all that great with the cold and insisted to be on "fire watch" duty. Kept him close to the heat.
As the two discussed what had gone down over the past two days and how to get home, a flurry kicks up. Both Maya and Nelson arrive, Nelson exclaiming, "Congratulations! Out of all potential hires, YOU two have come out on top!"
Diji grabs his bat. Ax'L extends an arm towards him. "What do you want?"
Maya took the first puff from a newly lit cigarette. "There's just one last leg before you're one of us." Gesturing to the mountain behind them. There's a landing pad on that peak over there, with a dropship that can carry you and your car home. Nelson here's willing to pilot it, IF you can navigate your way to it before we do."
"And if we don't?" Diji let out through chattering teeth.
Nelson shrugged, "Sucks to be you I guess."
Ax'L responded "When do we start?"
"What time is it...10:38? Throw some snow on that fire, we start at the top of the hour."

MAN, do I suck at night scenes, hah! In debating how I wanted this scene layed out, what won in the end was more of an above shot, which I blocked out to the best of my ability in Blender. I don't have any exact models for these cars so I apologize if the scale of the cars against the characters is off on one way or another. I feel like there's more I could've done here but at the same time I've gotta keep this train rolling!
