I think it was more because Lobbo wanted to be there for Tooro and Max thought Lobbo still had feelings for his ex and didn't want to be with someone who hadn't moved on

Which is still pretty shitty. Max sure found a new guy awful fast yet still talks to his ex (Lobbo), guess his current partner should leave him because he must not have moved on either.

honestly im glad he didn't get back together with Tooro. they weren't good for each other. Lobbo needs to do some soul searching and find a less toxic relationship.
Agreed, both were too possessive, Tooro has too few scruples, and Max was too insecure/jealous.
Although I am sad that Lobbo isn't with Max anymore, I am relieved that he's not with Tooro. Their relationship was way too toxic and it would be bad news for Lobbo getting back together with his ex. Hopefully Lobbo will take the time to find himself before he starts dating again
