Because I wanted to draw the feet changing without the shoes but didn't want him walking in a forest barefoot.
Oh to be there to witness his growth.. i know the real good stuff is yet to come but these last 2 pages really are great by themsleves in my opinion!
I've found there's aspects of macro that I like quite a bit, but I still want it to be a transformation haha. Dragons are really effective for that.
