Theo and Roger have found a lovely cave with a giant sphinx statue, and are moderately surprised to find that the statue is also a living creature at times(caffeine helps). But if they can solve her riddle, they can earn a night of being gently nestled beneath her wings.

A bit of vent writing. I am trying to be reasonable and not falling apart. If I see another 'masters degree required' for 'entry level position' I'm going to scream. The world is fucked up right now, and I'd vastly prefer it to be fucked up from a safe place rather than a precarious one.
If you are having trouble keeping it together too, I offer you the idea of imagining everyone reading this story giving you a great big hug. Maybe we don't have the energy alone, but we have it together.
I'm gonna get back to job applications, but this was at least some level of de-stressing. I would like to be a book and or cat now, thanks.

I really hate when entry level positions have that little line of X years of experience required.

The ones that get me(which are quite prevalent right now) are the sorts where they expect you to be a master of their programming stack with no training. Every company's stack is going to be different, they have their own environment and expectations, and if it's an entry level position they should be working to onboard you.
They know they want the thing, but don't appreciate what it takes to get it. They just want a checkbox filled to show to their boss.
