I feel like there's a little too much of a change between the different states of compression. It makes it appear as though the snake's body is hollow like a balloon or soft like a sponge.
The perceivable volume of the snake's body should be consistent through the animation. Think of it like trying to squeeze a balloon filled with water versus one filled with air.

Thanks for the advice, but this was done in 30 minutes. i wasn't Practicing my viscosity. i was drawing something silly and fun. and practicing a stagger frame coming off of a slow in to a slow out. this isn't here for any other Reason than it was being silly. i would love to see your frame by frame animation that shows said Example. show me.
