All across the Internet, from the most heavily-trafficked sites and servers to the farthest digital frontiers, there is a special type of entity that calls this space their home, traveling across the Information Superhighway and traversing the strands of the World Wide Web. Created in a more idealistic time when the Internet was seen as a novel concept, they now permeate cyberspace in secret, sometimes emerging into the physical world to carry out their own objectives. Some are heroes, defending those that cannot defend themselves. Others are villains, taking advantage of their unique skills and abilities for selfish and sinister reasons. But a few just want to get paid and move on to the next job.

The virtual being with the tag "Pyr0z.exe" or just "Pyr0z" (pronounced Pie-rose) is firmly in the third category of what have been dubbed "PokeNavis", due to their resemblance to both anthropomorphic Pokemon, and the NetNavis of the MegaMan franchise. As a courier-for-hire of digital information, Pyr0z considers herself a working girl, just trying to get through each day as it comes around, maintaining a professional decorum when on the clock and a more laid-back and aloof disposition when she isn't. However, her services are quite valuable as someone who has been tasked by various groups to transport packages and encrypted data in a timely and secure fashion, especially by those who want to make sure what they want to send to someone else will not be intercepted.

Her powers help with ensuring the safety of whatever she has been entrusted with, as her hair is a series of glowing fiberoptic-like filaments made of an unknown substance, the mass shifting colors and positions to make it look like her hair is a single burning flame, flickering and moving about. These filaments, at her command, can extend and change in a variety of ways, from reaching out of the way places to grapple onto, to jacking into any receptacle so she can access it, to even heating up to intense temperatures to allow her to project fiery attacks out of it or even just melt anything they come into contact with, save for herself. Her own suit is highly resistant to any temperature change and is quite durable thanks to a mixture of subtle and not-so-subtle armor plating distributed across its rubbery form. Add in incredible senses, lightning-fast reflexes, and superhuman strength and speed, and you have a formidable combatant if you try to cross her.

Fortunately for most, she doesn't go out of her way to try and start a fight, and attempts to avoid a confrontation if necessary, especially while in the middle of a delivery run. Though the number of female-presenting PokeNavis are few, so she does get a few requests every now and then for more social engagements or even had deliveries sent her way that were excuses to have her show up somewhere to ask her out. After all, anyone who has spent enough time with her inevitably wonders who is behind that leonine mask...
