After Cobol went awol during a war his bosses just assumed he'd been obliterated, using a digital backup they reprinted a somewhat close copy of him who picked up where his original version left off. Cobol/2 excelled in battle and soon rose up the ranks being upgraded to a mighty commander form. Of course the two Cobol's did end up meeting long after the war was over but after a quick fight the two soon found they had a lot on common..
