A lot of wizards hate when people don't follow the rules. Schools of Magic taught them how important rules are to magic and a lot of graduates take that to most (if not all) rules in life. That's why in many cases they might set up punishement spells to teach the rule breaker a lesson.
You shouldn't enter the backstage during a Wizard show as they might've set a spell onto their backdoors. In best case scenario, they might just use you for a trick or two but sometimes they might like you a bit too much and keep you for an entire magic tour or three.
