Last night i had a dream where i visited a very dreamy looking place, hard to describe. But i made me think of the creative ideas i used to draw for a fantasy world, and made me wonder why I haven't allowed myself to draw them... I think i let realism in geography get too much in the way or in too high a priority over my own creativity and its stopped me from allowing my imagination to run wild. My dream helped me realized how silly I was to let all of that realism stunt me. For now on i want to try drawing more fantastical landscapes, and geography. A world doesn't just have to be green grass if ya don't want it to be. and a planet doesn't have to be a floating orb in space if you don't want it to be, the sky and the stars can be anything you imagine!
I'm not exactly sure what point i'm trying to make here, but I guess what you could take from this is, don't be afraid to be creative even if it doesn't make alot of sense, doesn't need to. Rather you want a degree of realism on your landscapes is up to you!
Anyway, thought i'd share of bit of insight of myself to y'all, hope ya like what scribbled here heh ^^
