While many forests and jungles are still largely unexplored there are still quite a few races on Eidon that haven't been discovered yet, though there are some that are only know by certain races as they live in the remote places of their homeland. The Anshé are one such race known only to the Amazons untill recently most of them living in scattered tribes deep in the jungles and though their lack of clothing makes them seem primitive at first glance they are a fairly advanced people on par with the Amazons and some lizard folk, they even went to war with the Amazons a few times in the past before peacefully coexisting and opening trade between them.

For a long time they were thought to be beast folk but they are actually closer to humans due to their lack of fur on most of their body, aside from a long mane covering their back and their powerful tail. Though they can walk and run the Anshé prefer to hop to get around faster or surprise opponents with an aerial attack or leaping over them. Physically the Anshé do not have much of an advantage as demi humans compared to the Amazons, though they still have a strength and size advantage on most humans and have sharper senses. In magical potential they are about average but they do have a higher proficiency with nature magic relying on a mix between druidic and shamanistic spells and abilities.While the Anshé keep to themselves mostly they do get along well enough with humans, or rather just the Amazons, but it is unknown if they can have offspring with eachother as demihumans, though the Amazons claim to have known about at least some successful pregnancies none have been actually recorded in the records of either side.

For the Anshé unblemished skin is a sign of great beauty and social standing, as such they have developed many cosmetics and skin care products as well as specialized healing magic to remove scars and skin imperfections. The highest ranking in Anshé society will even shave off most of their fur, keeping only a very short mane, the tuft on the end of their tail and their whiskers while trimming back their front mane ridge almost entirely to show as much skin as possible, as such their clothing tends to be very loose and revealing while on the other hand their armor will cover every inch of their body to prevent injuries and scars. Because of this it seems unlikely the Anshé would be attracted to any furred or fethered beast folk and probably would shun them instead for their covered skin. Perhaps one day some Anshé will hear the call of advneture and leave their homeland to discover the rest of Eidon and it's many people for themselves and it will be clear once and for all if they decide to make friends or enemies of them.
