The perfect Fall time drink to warm you up when it's crisp and chilly. Also great for soothing a bad cough or sore throat during those season change colds.
What You'll Need:
-1 K cup pod of hot apple cider. (If you don't own a one cup coffee maker, then you can substitute a package of apple cider powder)
-1 shot of lemon juice
-1 shot of Jameson whiskey
-honey
-cinnamon
Step 1:
Start by adding the shot of lemon juice and whiskey to a cup/mug that can hold at least 10oz of fluid.
Step 2:
Place the mug underneath your coffee maker with the k pod pressed in and press the 8oz button. (If you're using the powder package, just add to the cup and fill nearly to the top with boiling water.)
Step 3:
When the brewing is finished, add your honey. For this I used orange blossom local honey. Always use local honey if you can find it. Drinking local honey helps strengthen your immune system to your local flora. I don't have an approximate amount, just however much you'd like.
Step 4:
Top with a few shakes of ground cinnamon and give a good stir. Try to get that honey broken up really good.
For garnish, add a stick of cinnamon and/or a lemon wheel. And for an even sweeter non-alcoholic version that's just as good, skip the whiskey. Drink it while it's nice and hot and enjoy!

Extra spice I use a shot Fireball Whiskey instead of normal whiskey
Not a bad idea. I actually have a bottle of Fireball on my booze shelf right now. I'll try it out next time I make a cup.
