The young naval officer seemed completely bored out of his mind. His presence on the Gala was hardly volunteer work, it was expected of him as part of his post in the ERN, the Equesterian Royal Navy. However during that dull evening a certain orange coated thestral caught his eye and attention, among many uptight nobles of Canterlot he seemed different.
