So sad how they grew up as brothers and then something happened which caused them to hate each other 😢
Well, leave it to Disney to not leave well enough alone or tell good stories anymore.
The trailers make it seem like scar was always the rightful king and mufasa is the usurper too lol.

Well that's just lame, Scar was never the rightful King, from what I've heard Scar started disliking Mufasa after he nicknamed him Scar.

Kind of. They decided to tell it differently for the live action cause the comics and what not were never actually canon, they were third party. It's whatever you want it to be is what I hear a lot. Can follow the older animation canon or the new live action story,
y'know I can't help but imagine a recreation of the chariot scene in The Prince of Egypt with these two which just makes this even sadder...

I have mixed feelings about the movie after the stuff I've seen from the trailers but regardless I am gonna watch the movie to honor the memory of the late James Earl Jones who voiced Mufasa.
With that said, you've done an incredible work in making both brothers truly captivating, like the beloved animated classic! Love it! 😀

I was confused a little bit "hey isn't it from the original movie?" and then I realized the live action is nowhere close to this expressive hand drawing
This is wonderful! It's great to see Mufasa and Taka in a happier time for the both of them. The difference between your awesome work and that soulless "live-action" stuff Disney is making is like day and night..
