"Remnants of a forgotten past, scarred from an epic battle." That's the theme I was going for when I drew this art piece. I wanted to give the audience the feel of looking through the ancient library's window to the ruined courtyard below. I did play around with perspectives, and some camera tricks I discovered way back in 2005 to9 help focus on the middle ground.
