This was another grounding technique I was given early on. It took me a few sessions to work it out. You know the daycare center in Hoenn? That's my calm place, with a small modification of there being a play ground and a pier so I can walk over the lake. The forest also has a walking trail... Its nice and can calm me pretty fast.
A bigger thing is learning how to talk and get things out, that what I like DOES matter. Which I'm getting a better handle on every day.
Gosh I love how I drew Avia here, I don't think this would have worked as well if I went with my original idea of a Xatu. Also animating this was a blast, it felt like I was finding my footing style wise.
As for why this took so long? A lot happened, I'm getting back on my feet now after a move and a lot of therapy stuff. I've also been trying to find a musician to make a backing track to some of what I want to do. You know those old final fantasy cutscenes where it was just music? I sort of want to have animated things like that on youtube to tell the story. It'll mostly be calm moments where something major is happening but nothing really explosive. Think like going on a long car trip where you have a chill vibey play list and can watch the scenery go by sort of thing. ^_^
