I'm running a game for some friends and it's inspired me to draw something. The game is called Slipstream. It's basically 1930s-style space pulp adventure, all rocket ships and ray guns, like old Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon serials. Right now, our heroes have crashed on a barren planetoid after their rocket ship was attacked by space pirates, and are being attacked by the local inhabitants--Rock Men, who consider any intruders on their home heretics who must be punished with death. Two of the passengers on the rocket ship are Iclulu Miuwear, a Chipmunkian diplomatic aide who was escorting a senior diplomat to a negotiation, and Christie Love, an Earthwoman space cop who was working undercover as a model to catch the space pirates.
