Chapter 17
This whole documentation wave was a flashback, I pointed out, so if you fast-forward to today, we were putting the finishing touches on it while getting ready for a possible sixth wave, now that we had everybody on the list. This is in addition to the fact we had both the Paralympics and the Furry Olympics going on in Paris at the same time, as well as seeing more of Leo’s parallels becoming heads of state. In most cases, it was against their wills. Lek the Golden Lion, for instance, had no intentions of ever becoming the Prime Minister of Thailand, but due to corruption, the Thai government impeached and removed the previous holder of the position from office, and ordered Lek to take the position, no questions asked. (Likewise, Weather Wolf ended up as Lek’s Minister of Defense, or Defence, depending on how you wish to spell it.)
In any event, let’s now continue with the list.
286. We began today with four Arctic (white foxes), three male and one female, all of which were actively serving in the U.S. Army. The vixen was married to the third fox, though, and both were close to the end of their service time, ready to transition back into civilian life. They still wore their BDUs for this occasion.
287. Eight Bengal tigers wearing white karate gis with black belts. All eight were also instructors of the sport.
288. Four Arctic (white) foxes dressed typical clothing you would expect of a rap artist, since all four of them were actual up-and-coming rap performers. They were, however, bothered by all the profanity one would typically hear in rap music, and so they promised us to keep their lyrics clean. “You made us allies; we’d have to, anyways,” one fox commented. “For the record, we don’t do drugs or drink either; we just dress like this.”
One fox wore a red baseball cap sideways while another fox had a blue cap on backwards. The other two did not wear a hat.
289. Four white lions also dressed as rap artists for the same reasons, and they also showed us that despite being rap artists, they were teetotal. The first one didn’t have a hat on him, but the next two wore their blue hats backwards. The fourth one wore his forwards.
290. Eight more white lions, but they were all members of newly-forming heavy metal bands that would retain that classic 80s sound. They were likewise dressed accordingly. They were divided into two groups of four, and each group had three guitarists and one bassist. “Any metal drummers in the house?” the first one asked.
“I don’t see any,” said Super C, “but I wish you well on your search. Just don’t get a big ego from it, okay? When I hired the Rockin’ Roarer, the frontman for Rock ‘n’ ROAR!, he confessed to me what while he did not do drugs or alcohol, he still had the big ego from letting all the fame and fortune go to his head.”
“I can see why,” said the second lion. “I got to see them in person when I was just a kid. Then, shortly afterwards, they all but disappeared from the scene. Any ideas?”
“The explanation I got was that it may have happened regardless, because in the 90s, we saw the emergence of grunge and punk rock, which pushed aside the heavy metal and glam metal. By the early 2000s, they had reconciled with each other and returned to recording new music.”
“Glad to hear that; they were our biggest inspiration. Obviously, you can credit Cripto for inspiring us as well.”
291. Three white lions wearing green and yellow supercostumes they wore at the convention, with a bit of white on them as well. The first one wore a green cape, and the yellow shield was placed on his chest against a white portion of the backdrop. We couldn’t make out what the green bits inside the shield were, since you could still see a tiny bit of yellow on the shield. “Wait; what is that?” I finally asked.
“I don’t know what this is; I think somebody just threw an inkblot on there. I’m not going to bother to change it, though.”
The second lion had grown wings, and could make them appear and disappear as needed. The third lion’s costume was more traditional, with a yellow cape to match the intended effects. The yellow shield in his chest did not have a logo inside; it was just solid yellow, although it was bordered in white, followed by another yellow border outside of that, and then another white border outside of that. Above the right diagonal of the shield (from the perspective of those looking at it) was a yellow star, and above the left diagonal was a flower. “What does the flower represent?” we asked.
“It’s a way I pay tribute to my great-grandfather,” the lion answered. “He spent pretty much his entire life in the Navy, and fought in both WW1 and WW2. The woman he was married to loved daisies more than any flower, and when he proposed to her, included with the gifts were a bouquet of daisies.”
“So that’s a daisy there?”
“That’s a daisy. Yes.”
“Were you ever in the Navy?”
“I was not. I fear that may have been a void in my life because I was pressured to join it, but I never did. I went into structural engineering instead.”
“I see.” My son paused to clear his throat again, and then added, “Some of the fan letters I receive frequently come from people whose parents were under this false belief that what they did for a living determines what you do for a living, no questions asked. Breaking traditions may be seen as bad, but it is not the unforgivable sin.”
“My parents acted as if it was. Ask them why it was a sin, though, and they would have no valid answer.”
“No one ever does.”
292. Four gray human-sized mice, one female and three males, all dressed as circus ringmasters. The female mouse also did a few magic tricks herself, and we volunteered to help her demonstrate some of those tricks. Some were card tricks, while others were things that she would pull out of her hat. (NOTE: A female ringmaster is known as a ringmistress in certain countries, such as the UK.)
293. Four gray human-sized rats, also dressed as ringmasters.
294. Four white human-sized mice, again dressed as ringmasters.
295. Four white human-sized rats, again dressed as ringmasters.
296. Four more white human-sized mice, again dressed as ringmasters.
297. Four more white human-sized rats, but they were wearing blue drum major uniforms with golden highlights. They were the bandleaders accompanying the ringmasters. One had a corps-style field drum on him, and he served as the drummer of honor for today. His march of choice was another Sousa march, “Solid Men to the Front.”
298. Four more white human-sized mice dressed as circus ringmasters. The fourth mouse was also a percussionist himself, although when acting as a ringmaster, he just made the announcements while other animals beat the drums. He did demonstrate his talents by playing the drum solo “Drum Corps on Parade,” and then we followed it up with “Sound Off!”, another Sousa march.
299. Four white lions wearing blue drum major uniforms with golden highlights, although there were some white sections on some of the uniforms. They all wore white pants as well, instead of blue pants. They were the bandleaders accompanying the ringmasters. Two of them also played the trumpet, while one played a trombone, and the fourth played the tuba and Sousaphone. (Here, he had a Sousaphone.)
300. Two white tigers in white karate gis with black belts. They were also drummers as well, and they revealed that they were the latest recruits into Peter Carter’s group, the Taiko Tigers. They demonstrated their drum talents here with their taiko drums, although the piece they were playing usually went with other drums. They handed us some sheet music to show this, and Dark Wolf himself took charge of sight-reading the timpani part.
301. Four Bengal tiger percussionists all wearing gold and white drum major uniforms, and each had a shako to accompany them. All four ended up half-naked as a consequence of watching “The Adventures of Drummer Dog” (although they had the pants here) leading us to explain to them that while the bear was the animal to which this happened the most, the tiger was in second place. They agreed not to let it bother them, and played a drum solo for us with their corps-style field drums.
302. Two Bengal tiger percussionists wearing silver drum major uniforms with silver shakos. The highlights were also silver, just as the ones with the gold and white uniforms were also gold. However, you could easily tell them apart.
One tiger ended up half-naked, while the other did not, even though both of them admitted to watching “The Adventures of Drummer Dog” in their youth. Both tigers played football bass drums for the big parade.
303. Three more Bengal tiger percussionists in purple drum major uniforms with silver highlights, only one of which had ended up half-naked in the end; he was the third tiger of the three. The first one experimented with white pants with purple stripes, while the second had the purple pants with silver stripes to match. They all played football snare drums in the big parade.
304. A Bengal tiger in a fancy black tuxedo with bowtie; he was a classically trained orchestral percussionists, although he also learned to play the drum set.
305. Two more Bengal tigers in white karate gis with black belts; they were also new members of the Taiko Tigers. They had performed earlier with the other tigers. They clarified to us, though, that the CNG effects didn’t get to them until several days after it got the other two.
306. Four lions serving as forest rangers.
307. Seven lions serving as park rangers looking after Yellowstone National Park. “I can confirm for you,” one of them said, “that we have been seeing a lot more tourists as a result of that television program, ‘Yellowstone,’ airing on CBS, although my family watched it on Paramount Plus.”
“I think it was a Paramount Plus original,” Super C replied. “I could be wrong. CBS was just airing it to help fill gaps left by that writer’s strike, which is also why we had those game shows that this town loved to watch, ‘Loteria Loca’ and ‘Raid the Cage.’” (The former got pulled from the schedule before it could air all its episodes, but the network promised it would air the remaining shows. The latter aired all its shows, and got enough ratings to renew for a second season.)
308. Last, but not least, we had five lionesses that were also park rangers, although Yosemite National Park was the park they looked after. Their report was that when the CNG got to them and made them lionesses, parts of the forests were suffering from the wildfires that California is infamous for having. After they transformed, however, CNG made it rain heavily, putting the fires out, and saving the other firefighters some work. “I think that was just a coincidence, but that’s the way it happened,” one lionesses commented. “Was that normal for CNG?”
“It was,” I said. “Because it wanted to be the one to kill all the humans off instead of letting somebody else do it, it also wanted to do everyone’s work for them in specific cases.”
“That’s what we thought. It didn’t start the fire; it just put an end to it. Then it killed the smugglers, of course.”
“Do you know what the smugglers were going to do with it?” Dark Wolf asked.
“Start a fire. They got there only to find out it had already started, but it was lightning that did it.”
“So it was natural; that’s a relief.”
Do you know what else was a big relief? Finishing the list. At last, it was finally done!

A Fifth Wave of Transformations (Chapter 17)
Yet another sequel to my stories of C.I.D.F. documentation, which consists of the C.I.D.F. documenting every individual that was once a human being, but had been transformed into an anthro animal permanently from the CNG effects. The purpose is to figure out why CNG did this to the specific individual, and also to keep them safe from the forces of evil. It also will allow SuperCat to see if he has any potential new recruits in the G-52 Organization, since both organizations are sister organizations to one another. The story was based on my experience using Bing Image Creator, but FurAffinity doesn't allow AI-generated art. (Using it did help me somewhat because I cannot draw.)
This fifth documentation wave returns to Dark Wolf's castle, the facility of which is home to G-52 HQ. The guests, however, do not visit that part (unless Super C gives them permission to in the event they gain superpowers, and he wants them to test them out in a safe training environment).
This is Chapter 17. This is also a flashback story, as this happened before the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Some animals documented, however, would go on to compete in the furry version of the same thing. (The humans always do their first, followed by the furries.)
