really adore that last line from red. here we go, then! hopefully the hollow will be willing to listen and not just pounce on sight. if even hemlock could look into the eyes of scared predators (young though they were) and pause, hopefully others will too.
oh man, went back to the scene where rask tells her about the hollow- he tells her to bring something to show she doesnt mean harm. i do wonder if two young kids will be good enough; even with his disabilities i dont doubt red could tear someone a new one, but you dont bring your children on the warpath.

Glad they can be open minded, together. I worry wolves will be a little over the line that a badger and a marten were toeing in the eyes of the other prey animals.
I know its just the page number. But I can't help but think that Hemlock shaved 313 on wolf butt as a warning or a kill count xD
